XI SCIENCE 1

      On monday morning, after flag ceremony when Nabilla, Meutia, Nyssa, and Atiek were in the line for getting back to class, they had a little talk.

Nyssa     : Alhamdulilah, Thank God, exam is finally over!
Atiek       : Yeah, no more dating with book for every night!
Meutia    : And no more sleeping late night!
Nabilla   : So we can go have fun!
Nyssa     : Wait... but I get headache, maybe because too much worried about the exam result. It's killing me.
Meutia   : Yeah.. me too., especially for Physics test.
Nabilla   : And I'm worriy about math. Hhh...
Atiek     : Hey.. don't get stress, guys. Be positive thinking. How about we refreshing together on weekend?
Nabilla   : Great!
Meutia    : That's really great!
Nyssa     : What are we going to do?
Atiek      : We'll go to the movies and have a lunch together.
Nyssa     : I love it! When will we go? 
Atiek      : How about on Sunday?
Meutia    : Okay!
Nabilla    : It's really great pleasure.
Atiek      : Uhmmmm...Can't wait for the weekend! Really Excited!

     They the teacher is coming in, they should take a sit.

English Task. Work inpairs.
Made by Me and Anjas Awi Ladika (XI Science 1)

One day, there was a poor old widow who had a son named Jack. They lived in a village near the river. The old widow worked as a farmer, while her son was jobless. The widow loved her son very much, she always tried to give the best for her son that her son happy.
The son told her mother that he wanted to get married, "Mom, I love a girl, I want to marry her". Her mother answered with a little smile, "I'm glad to hear that, if you really love her, marry her.” Jack married the girl. The girl named Sara. Sara lived in a small hut with Jack and his mother. After married, Jack still didn’t want to find a job and Sara asked tobuy expensive items.
Day after day, characteristic of Sara more seen. Spoiled, selfish, and loved to make up all the time. One afternoon, Sara was bored, her mother-in-law was worked and her husband was taking a nap. Sara went around the village, when he was passed the market, he saw a rich woman wore a pearl necklace and beautiful dress. Sara really wanted the necklace, she wanted to show off to other girls in her village.
When Sara arrived home, she told Jack and cried, "I want new dress and pearl necklace. Why your mother can not give it to me? It means that your mother doesn’t love me.” Jack’s mother came home, Jack said, "Mother, my wife wanted a beautiful neackle with pearls on it and some beautiful dresses. She need it to be pretty. You must be proud if your daughter-in-law looks really beautiful ". His mother answered with Sadness, "Yes, I will be so proud, my son. But.. too bad.. I can not buy them. I didn’t have so much money. Believe me, I wanted to, but I can’t ". Sara secretly heard the conversation between them.
Sara were became really mad and upset. She made Jack to hate his mother with million ways. Jack began to hated his mother. He was often angry with her mother. His mother, who is patient, still continued pray for the good of his beloved son and her daughter-in-law.
One day, Sara found a beautiful leather purse on Jack's locker. She thought it would be so expensive if she selled it. Then, she went to the town and sold it to a rich man. Jack were so angry known his purse were gone. Sara told him that his mother took it and selled it. Without thinking, he drove out his mother, "Go away from here!" Her mother cried, "Listen to me, my son..... I never known about your leather purse, I've never seen it before. I...” He pushed his mother," Get out!"
Jack’s mother really sad, he didn’t stop cried, he didn’t know where to go. Suddenly, he met a man all-dressed-in-white. "Follow me, people like you deserve to live happily ever after", the strange man said. The poor widow followed him. She didn’t know where she was. Suddenly, she found herself in a shiny place, filled with various foods and everything was available there. The poor widow lived happily without have to work hard there.
Less than a week, Jack and Sara’s life fell apart. Sara was mad because she obsessed to be rich, and Jack, because he didn’t know how to get money, he eventually became a beggar in town.

  • A : Ajeng will be washing the dishes at 8 o' clock.

  • P : A concert will be being watched by Raka at this time tomorrow.

Malay Culture in West Kalimantan

       In the very of beginning, the tredors came and live then built a new village in Pontianak. Generally they choose location to stay around the Kapuas river and alobng the small Kapuas river. The tredors are malaynese and they sail to pontianak and brought malaynese culture. they stay and lived in Pontianak and make a community.
       Malay in West Kalimantan identic with Islam, the architecture, traditional dance and traditional costume shows the islam tradition. Their special costume for men and women are teluk belanga  and baju kurung. For men, teluk belanga is wears with matching trousers, kain samping (usualy made of kain songket) completes the ensemble. The kain samping is a short sarong wears around the waist with the hemline above the knee.
       For women, baju kurung is very comfort outfit to wear. It is cool in the tropical weather. The ensemble compresed a long-sleeved, loose fitting long blouse wears over matching sarong. To complete the outfit, a long scraf (selendang) is wears around the shoulder or around the head.
       Malay traditional dances improve very well. Zapin and Tandak Sambas are the famous traditional dances from Malay. Zapin is traditional dance with Islam characteristic. It used to be performed exclusively for religious ceremony, but through the year it become a form of traditional entertainment. The dancers usually perform in pairs accompanied by the traditional music ensamble such as gambus, rebab, rebana, etc.
       Tandak  is traditional dance from Sambas district, West Kalimantan. Entourage consisted of two gerat musicians or some singers. Female dancers wearing long brackets and the woven fabric is slung Sambas. male dancers wearing a headband, shirt bay pots and Sambas woven fabric.
       Special traditional foods from Malay are bubur pedas and pacri nanas. Bubur pedas contains fresh vegetables. this dish taste doesn't match the name. For original bubur pedas, vegetables that are used there are 40 types. All the vegetables chooped dand mixed in the rice processed. Bubur pedas generally served with a sprinkling peanut and anchovies. The type of rice for this menu is finely ground toasted rice, then mixed with various spices such as galangal, chil, onion, grlic, black papper, etc. Bubur pedas was first discovered by Sambas malay ethnic who lived on coast in Pontianak area and popularized as a special food.
       Pinneaple is not only for jam or salad. pinneaple also use as vegetable. Pacri nanas is vurry vegetarian version which very tasty and fresh.  Pacri nanas can be made with coconut milk. Sweet, tangy, spicy, and fresh are the taste from pacri nanas.

My Favorite Item


.

I would like describe the watch as my favorite item. A watch is a small timepiece. I love a simple-unique-unusual-colorful watch. 

For me, besides useful to know the time, watch is also able to fashion hehe ;P I'm not really like the expensive watch. I always buy the watch in a cheap price, but not in a low quality, and the most important is... the watch are simple and comfort to me. I always wear my watch in every moment, it can makes me more confident. Now I have collected twelves watches with different models and colors. I keep them in a special drawer  :D
